Pupils of St Colms High learning a valuable experience through the PSNI Car Crash Simulator sessions.


St Colm's Draperstown......4-6 Our Lady's Newry..............0-5 Despite the elements of wind and extreme cold, St Colm's have reached their second Ulster Schools' camogie final of the season, with a hard fought win over Our Lady's Newry on Wednesday at MUSA. Our Lady's elected to play with an extremely strong breeze in the first-half. They had their fair share of possession and scored four points. St Colm's braced the elements and despite stringent defending from their opponents, they ended the half with a flourish. St. Colm’s Top Performing Pupils

St. Colm’s High School Draperstown has achieved three top positions in Northern Ireland in the 2019 A Level and GCSE Occupational Studies examinations. In A Level Health and Social Care a magnificent 2nd and 3rd place in Northern Ireland was achieved by Nicole Donnelly and Katie McAuley respectively. Francis Flanagan achieved Learner of the Year in GCSE Design and Creativity which he studied through collaboration with the Northern Regional College, Ballymena campus. He was presented with his Award at the CEA Celebration Ceremony in the Titanic Centre in Belfast on Tuesday 17th December. Francis is currently pursuing a career in Hairdressing in the Battisti Salons in Cookstown and Belfast.
