BBC Reporter Keiron Tourish became the news headline as he visited our school to speak to the Year 10 students about careers in journalism.

The North West regional reporter encouraged the pupils to “not be afraid of the story” and to “aim high in their career aspirations”. Year 10 pupil Erin Murray said “I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Keiron Tourish today and hearing about how I could be a journalist”. Pupils are looking forward to participating in BBC Young Reporter 2019.
